Police beat Feb. 1

False ID charge: Clarence A. Lancaster, 36, of 377 Sherman Ave., Nemacolin, was charged by Cumberland Township police with providing false identification to law enforcement and disorderly conduct after allegedly giving a false identification card to a constable who was arresting Lancaster on a warrant. Police said they also found Lancaster to be in possession of marijuana.
