South Strabane police charge several with theft
South Strabane Township police recently filed theft and related charges against several people accused of stealing from township businesses.
Sarah L. Severns, 26, of 139 Karmann Road, Canonsburg, was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing items valued at $164 from Walmart, Trinity Point, on July 11.
Jessica Fluharty, 42, of 690 Buena Vista St., Washington, was charged with retail theft and possession of cocaine and paraphernalia after she allegedly stole items valued at $115.50 from Giant Eagle, Strabane Square, on June 3.
Nicole Ancarana, 22, of 308 Route 88, Elco, was charged with receiving stolen property and possession of paraphernalia after a June 7 incident at Kohl’s, Strabane Square.
Christopher Lee Areford, 31, of 106 Fonner Run Road, Sycamore, was charged with theft by deception after he allegedly returned a stolen tent to Walmart on May 27 in exchange for a gift card.
The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
