PITTSBURGH (AP) – A woman who ran a Pennsylvania methadone clinic raided by federal agents last year faces sentencing before a federal judge in Pittsburgh.

Rosalind Sugarmann pleaded guilty in Decmeber to illegal drug distribution and health care fraud. Sugarmann headed the Addiction Specialists clinic in North Union Township.

She was accused along with Dr. Dominic Dileo of distributing pain pills and other drugs that weren’t for a legitimate medical purpose.

Dileo, a cardiologist who had previously served federal prison time, pleaded guilty in July and is awaiting sentencing next month.

Federal prosecutors are expected to seek about three years in prison for Sugarmann.
