Two charged: Cedric D. Jackson, 47, of California, and the owner of the vehicle he was driving, James Zober, 55, also of California, both face charges after Jackson was stopped May 13 by California police on Zulu Street. Police said Jackson had a set of brass knuckles. He was charged with having a prohibited offensive weapon, fleeing and eluding police, driving without a license and driving an unregistered vehicle. Zober is charged with allowing violation of title.

Theft charge: Anthony Euene Nakutis, 24, of Daisytown, was charged last week by California police with theft after he reportedly took a generator valued at $400 from 680 Pike Run Drive but refused to return it. Police said he wass given some time to return the generator. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.

Boy assaulted: Michael G. Campbell, 61, of 524 Valley View Terrace, Canonsburg, was charged last week by Canonsburg police with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly assaulted a boy March 25 in Valley View. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Gun allegedly pointed: Jeffrey Nock, 29 of 510 Woodland Road, Canonsburg, was charged last week by Canonsburg police with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats and reckless endangerment for allegedly pulling a gun on three men in a parking lot at 342 W. Pike St. on May 10. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

False imprisonment: Andrew John Stevens, 28, of Middlebourne, W.Va., was arrested Tuesday by state police on charges of false imprisonment and disorderly conduct stemming from a domestic at Red Roof Inn, 1399 W. Chestnut St., Canton, with a 22-year-old West Virginia woman. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released on his own recognizance.

Two hurt: Two men received minor injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 2:30 p.m. Monday on Jefferson Avenue near Mark Avenue, state police said. A vehicle driven by Austin Snodgrass, 27, of Canonsburg, rear-ended a vehicle driven by Dennis Ingram, 56, of Washington. Both were treated at the scene by Washington Ambulance and Chair.

Motorcyclist injured: Thomas May, 61, of Pittsburgh, was injured when his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle driven by Leila McClain, 88, of Canonsburg, Monday afternoon. May told Cecil police he was turning onto Morganza Road from Southpointe Boulevard when he was struck by McClain who was driving south on Morganza. McClain left the scene and was found a few miles away on Morganza. Police will consult with the district attorney’s office to determine whether McClain should be charged.

Harassment charge: Dennis Cooper, 52, of 31 Link Lane, faces a harassment charge after he allegedly grabbed and pushed Lisa Cooper, 49, during an argument Tuesday at their home, state police said. The will proceed by summons from the office of District Judge Gary Havelka.

DUI crash: Michelle Lynn Pettit, 47, of 1092 Addison At., Washington, will be charged by North Franklin police with driving under the influence of alcohol after she reportedly struck the rear of a vehicle in the lot of McDonald’s, 1294 W. Chestnut St. Police said she refused to submit a blood-alcohol test.

Theft charge: David Beer, 57, of Homestead, was charged by North Franklin police with felony retail theft and driving under suspension after he allegedly stole three knives valued at more than $200. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Driver charged: Michael D. Byrne, 41, of 179 Booth Road, Washington, was charged last week by North Strabane police with driving under the influence of alcohol, having an open container of beer, possession of marijuana and traffic violations stemming from a May 22 traffic stop in the 1600 block of Route 519. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Woman arrested: Melissa Ann Dicken, 37, of 515 Valley St., McDonald, was arrested Tuesday night by McDonald police with simple assault and harassment after she allegedly punched her son in the face during an altercation at their home. She was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Child endangerment charges: Jona S. Swisher, 39, of 511 McClane Farm Road, Chartiers Township, was charged last week by South Strabane police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of children and driving under suspension after she allegedly struck a pole in a parking lot at 481 Washington Road with a 3-month-old child and 3-year-old child in the vehicle on May 23. She was taken to Washington Hospital where blood was drawn. The children were released to their father. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Drug arrest: Anthony L. Shadeck, 29, of 482 W. Wylie Ave., Canton Township, was arraigned Tuesday by District Judge Jay Weller on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver cocaine and possession of paraphernalia and marijuana filed by South Strabane police stemming from a May 20 incident at Motel 6. Weller set bond at $10,000 on Shadeck, who had been in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Disorderly charge: Melinda Headlee, 46, of 916 Oak St., Marianna, was charged by South Strabane police with disorderly conduct and possession of paraphernalia. She is accused of yelling obscenities at shoppers, including children, at Tanger Outlets on May 25. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Felony theft charge: Curtis Corrie Sadler, 55, of 360 E. Hallam Ave., Washington, was charged last week by South Strabane felony retail theft for allegedly stealing a bottle of Crown Royal from the Wine & Spirits store, Washington Mall, on May 24. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Woman charged: Elizabeth Charnik, 31, of 38 Homestead Drive, Avella, was charged by South Strabane police with retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after she allegedly stole items from Kohl’s, Strabane Square, on May 25. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Theft charge: Isaac J. Layfield, 31, of Fairmont, W.Va., was charged by South Strabane police with theft by deception stemming from a May 16 incident when he allegedly made a fraudulent return of $152.63 at Kohl’s, Strabane Square.

Fleeing charge: Jason P. Dever, 20, of 1029 Ewing St., Washington, was charged by South Strabane police with fleeing or attempting to elude police, reckless driving and failure to drive at a safe speed after he was spotted pulling a wheelie n Route 19 northbound. He reportedly fled when police tried to stop him. Dever was stopped when he became stuck in traffic. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Theft charge: Michelle A. Dorance, 24, of 4006 Stonecreek Lane, Washington, was charged by South Strabane police with retail theft after she allegedly stole items valued at more than $1,200 from Kohl’s, Strabane Square, on three occasions in May. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Grill stolen: Michelle Cohen, 235 W. Chestnut St., told Washington police Wednesday her propane grill was stolen from her porch.

False ID: Lisa D. Jolly, 49, of Aliquippa, will be charged by Washington police with false identification to police after she allegedly gave officers several different names when they took her into custody Tuesday night. Police receive a complaint about her loitering the parking lot at 501 Jefferson Ave.

Harassment, disorderly charges: Lauren Newton, 37, of 252 Locust Ave., Washington, was charged by Washington police with harassment and disorderly conduct after she allegedly pulled a woman off a porch Tuesday at 60 W. Walnut St.
