Adam LaRue, second baseman and a team captain, is congratulated Wednesday by college president Dr. Tori Haring-Smith as W&J’s baseball team returns from its appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship Series. LaRue overcame a facial fracture injury in early May and returned to playoff action. “It was an experience and a half,” LaRue said of the championship run.
