Possession charge: Thomas Francis Rea, 59, of East Millsboro, was charged by borough police with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop May 27 on California Road. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of Joshua Kanalis.

Retail theft charge: Jasper J. Jones of 320 South Ave., Pittsburgh, was charged by borough police for allegedly stealing $70 worth of clothes Thursday from Dollar General, 3220 National Pike. Jones was arraigned by District Judge Jay Weller on seven counts of retail theft and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 19 before District Judge Joshua Kanalis.

Liquor law violation alleged: Angelo’s Lounge, 590 Low Hill Road, was cited Friday for allegedly possessing gambling devices or permitting gambling on the premises April 25. The charge, by the Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, will be brought before an administrative law judge, who can impose training, penalties and/or license revocation.

Bike stolen: A resident of Maple Terrace reported to Washington police Thursday her women’s gray Huffy mountain bike was stolen while it was tied up outside, between 11 a.m. and noon.

Bullets stolen: A resident in the 100 block of Walnut Street reported to Washington police Thursday a box of .40-caliber Winchester bullets was stolen from his unlocked vehicle, which was parked outside overnight.
