Man found dead at Chartiers skeet range

The shooting death of a South Strabane Township man Thursday at a Chartiers Township skeet range appears to be accidental.
Louis DePretis, 60, was found Thursday afternoon by another member of Washington Sportsmen’s Association on the skeet range at 2151 N. Main St.
Washington County Coroner Tim Warco said the shooting appears to be accidental, although the incident is being investigated by Chartiers police. DePretis died of a gunshot wound to the chest.
DePretis was a certified public accountant who once had an office in Washington and was a former South Strabane Township supervisor.
