Domestic dispute charge: A Hanover Township man and his mother are each being charged with harassment and simple assault after allegedly getting into an altercation with Brooke Sierra Williams, no age or address given, according to police. Williams told police Christopher A. Slasor, 25, of 389 Steubenville Pike, came out to her car to say goodbye to their son Saturday when he took her keys away from her. Slasor told police she had been drinking. Williams said she got her keys back, and Slasor put her in a chokehold. After getting her keys again, Slasor again put her in a chokehold. Slasor’s mother, Marjorie Lou Weigner, 46, then allegedly attacked Williams, hitting her in the head multiple times. Williams said she hit her head when she was tackled and hit the ground. Williams was taken to Weirton Medical Center in Weirton, W.Va., where she was treated for a laceration to her forehead, abrasions and bruises.
