Drug arrest: Gene Trozzo, 45, of 325 Main St., Richeyville, was arrested Friday by Washington County Drug Task Force on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin and possession of paraphernalia. He is accused of selling the drug to a confidential source at his Centerville home March 22. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on a $25,000 percentage bond.

Items stolen: Darlene Crumrine of Washington told Chartiers police Thursday household items were stolen from her mother’s home in the 800 block of South Country Club Road.

Money, safe stolen: Robin Davidson of 396 McClane Farm Road told Chartiers police Thursday money and a safe were stolen from her home.

Assault arrest: Scott P. Miller, 45, of 45 Coulter Estates, Burgettstown, was arrested Thursday night by Hanover police after he allegedly grabbed his wife by the arm and threw her to the ground during a confrontation at their home. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct and placed in Washington County jail on a $5,000 percentage bond.

Woman jailed: Kasey Cavanaugh, 21, of 1331 Summit Ave., Monessen, was charged by city police with simple assault, harassment, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct, court records show. Police accuse her of punching Dana John several times about 11:10 p.m. Thursday at Cavanuagh’s residence. She was placed in Westmoreland County jail on $1,500 bond, set by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Man jailed: Caleb Joshua Kolbeck, 29, of 804 E. Crawford St., Connellsville, is charged by city police with escape and resisting arrest over allegations he struggled with an officer and slipped away from him during an attempt to serve Kolbeck with an arrest warrant about 7 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Reed Avenue, court records show. An officer rescued Kolbeck after he ran into woods and slipped down a steep embankment above Schoonmaker Avenue. He was placed in Westmoreland County jail on $10,000 bond, set by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Woman charged: Stacie Ann Bowman, 28, of 1005 Graham Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with simple assault and harassment over allegations she bit Daryl H. Brown Jr. in his chest about 2:20 a.m. Tuesday in her residence, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charges in a summons Thursday.

Man jailed: Gene E. Trozzo, 45, of Richeyville, is charged by Washington County detectives with drug delivery, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia following a search Friday morning of 315 Main St. in Richeyville, which produced heroin, $1,068 and guns, the Washington County district attorney’s office said. Additional charges are pending in the case. Trozzo was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Joshua Kanalis.

Vehicle damaged: Philip Gilpin of Canton Township told South Strabane police Thursday the bed and tailgate of his pickup truck were scratched while he was parked at Lowe’s in Strabane Square.

Trimmers stolen: Two weed trimmers were reported stolen to Washington police. Warren Wilson told police Wednesday a trimmer owned by Washington School District was stolen from the front porch at 375 Allison Ave. Maya Villers of 260 Duncan Ave. told police Thursday her Craftsman trimmer was stolen from her yard.

Money stolen: Keith Farmer of South Strabane Township told Washington police Friday a man he had given a ride the previous day stole $240 from the cup holder of his vehicle.

Apartment entered: Tracie Howard of Republic told Washington police Thursday her husband’s top-floor apartment in the 100 block of West Walnut Street was entered. Items were moved around, but nothing appears to have been stolen.

Tires slashed: Eric Isbell of 670 E. Maiden St. told Washington police Thursday two tires on his vehicle were slashed while it was parked behind his apartment building.

Truck damaged: David King of Moody, Ala., told Washington police Thursday the window of his pickup truck was broken and a door dented while the vehicle was parked on Lewis Avenue.
