Internet service down for Washington, Canonsburg

Comcast internet customers were without the service for about an hour-and-a-half Tuesday.

According to spokesman Bob Grove, customers from Canonsburg to Washington were affected.

The outage occurred around 5 p.m. Grove said services were restored at 6:25 p.m. He didn’t know how many customers were affected.

“We got our crews out immediately to work as quickly as we could,” he said.

Grove said the company is investigating the cause.
