Truck spills fuel: State police said numerous traffic violations will be filed against a truck driver who crashed Friday morning on Interstate 70, just east of the south junction with Interstate 79. Police said a rig driven by Roberto Vazquez, 38, of Kissimmee, Fla., failed to negotiate a curve in the road about 6:30 a.m. The truck traveled off the road, through the median and up a small grade before crashing through a guardrail and coming to rest blocking both eastbound lanes of the highway. Diesel fuel leaked into the median and flowed into a nearby drain culvert. The Washington County hazmat team was called to clean up the spill. Vazquez was not injured.
