WAYNESBURG – A Carmichaels man was found guilty Friday of holding a gun to his estranged wife’s head outside her workplace in Dry Tavern in October.

A Greene County jury convicted Steven T. Dulik Jr., 46, of 311 Liberty St., of aggravated assault, firearms not to be carried without a license, terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment, disorderly conduct and two counts of reckless endangerment.

Three witnesses were present when Dulik went to Dry Tavern Auto, 955 N. Eighty Eight Road in Jefferson Township, about 1:45 p.m. Oct. 25. Police said he wanted to talk to his wife, Danielle Dulik, about seeing their children, but when the two of them went outside the building to talk, Dulik grabbed her by the arm, dragged her through the parking lot, put her in a headlock and held a handgun to her head.

Police said Danielle Dulik yelled for her co-worker, Joseph Milliken, to call 911. Milliken ran up behind Dulik and pulled him to the ground, freeing Danielle Dulik, who ran across the street into a building, the criminal complaint said.

Dulik pointed the gun at Milliken and started chasing after his wife, before getting into a truck and leaving.

The jury found him not guilty of a second count of simple assault, relating to his encounter with Milliken. A second count of terroristic threats, also related to Dulik’s encounter with Milliken, was dropped before the trial.

Greene County Judge Lou Dayich revoked Dulik’s bail, and he will await sentencing in Greene County jail.
