PITTSBURGH (AP) — Four men have been ordered to stand trial in western Pennsylvania in the beating death of a Somali immigrant cab driver in Pittsburgh.

One defendant, 20-year-old Hosea Moore, waived his right to a preliminary hearing Friday in Allegheny County and testified against the others in the February beating death of 31-year-old Ramadhan Mohamed.

Moore testified that he and the others — 20-year-old King Edwards, 20-year-old Daniel Russell, 19-year-old Christen Glenn — beat the victim after luring him to the neighborhood intending to rob him.

Defense attorney Kevin Abramovitz said there is no deal with prosecutors for reduced charges but he and his client are “certainly anticipating a benefit” due to his testimony.

Russell’s defense attorney, Robert Carey Jr., said he looks forward to “challenging the credibility of this witness.”
