SOUTH STRABANE

Theft arrest: Crystal Rawson-Kelly, 41, of 305 Valley Road, Canonsburg, was arrested Thursday by South Strabane police on a felony charge of retail theft. She is accused of failing to ring up items valued at $190.57 while making other purchases at Walmart, Trinity Point. She was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

WASHINGTON

Man threatened: Richard Porter of Washington told Washington police Thursday he was threatened in the parking lot of Shop ‘n Save, 125 W. Beau St., by a man and woman during an argument. The two denied having a knife. Police will review surveillance tapes to determine if charges will be filed.

Driver faces charges: Richard Lassic, 23, of 47 Shannon Ave., Washington, faces charges including fleeing and eluding police after allegedly leading police on a chase when he was spotted going through a red light at North Main Street and Hallam Avenue early Friday. Police said he crashed into parked vehicles, one on East Hallam and the other on Leet Street. Police said Lassic and two passengers fled on foot, but he and one passenger were apprehended. Lassic was taken to Washington Hospital, where police said blood was drawn to determine if he was under the influence.

Card, license stolen: Shawn McMasters of Penn Avenue told Washington police Thursday his driver’s license and bank card were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked near his home.

Account accessed: Jennifer Yates of Washington told Washington police Wednesday her credit union debit card account information was used to make a $315 withdrawal in Philadelphia. She still has possession of the card.
