Food stamp fraud charges: An Ohio woman was charged Wednesday with one count of felony fraud to obtain food stamps or assistance. The state Office of the Inspector General alleges that Heidi L. Thompson, 43, of 523 Virginia St., Martins Ferry, failed to report her husband’s job and, as a result, received $4,096.21 in benefits to which she was not entitled from Nov. 1, 2016, to Feb. 28, 2017.
