CANONSBURG
Woman charged: Nicole Renee Finney, 36, of 534 S. Central Ave., Canonsburg, is charged by borough police with giving false identification to law enforcement, flight to avoid apprehension, hindering apprehension and making false reports to law enforcement, court records show. Police accuse Finney of leaping out a back window at her residence and hiding under a nearby porch after officers were called there to investigate a complaint about 2 p.m. May 9. District Judge David Mark issued the charges by summons Wednesday.
CHARTIERS
Assault alleged: Joshua Dale Thompson, 35, of 1425 Henderson Ave., Chartiers Township, is charged by Chartiers police with simple assault and harassment over allegations he pushed Emily Sieber into a door, causing her to strike her head about 12:05 a.m. Thursday at his residence, court records show. He is free on $10,000 bond set by District Judge Curtis Thompson.
ROSTRAVER
Assault alleged: A female, whose age was not reported, told township police three males approached as she walked on Plainview Avenue around 1:30 p.m. Thursday and one punched her face without provocation. She said the three came from the woods between Plainview and Broad Avenue and fled following the punch. The accuser described them as white males, 18 to 20 years old and wearing blue jeans. One, she said, had a black jacket with a design on the back. Police are asking anyone with information to call 724-929-8811.
SPEERS
Theft alleged: Leigh Ann Bosworth, 28, of 104 Mood Lane, Jefferson Township, Fayette County, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with theft over allegations she stole $40 from a cash register at Campy’s Pizza, 119 Pennsylvania Ave., about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday. District Judge Larry Hopkins issed the charge by summons Thursday.
