BENTLEYVILLE

Drug charges: Marrie Poling, 36, of 209 First St., Bentleyville, is charged by state police with drug possession with intent to deliver and drug possession over allegations she sold a confidential informant a bag of adderall about 5:10 p.m. Oct. 11, 2016, in the 200 block of First Street, court records show. District Judge Curtis Thompson issued the charges last week via summons.

COKEBURG

Assault alleged: Phillip Richard Onesko, 50, of 42 Lincoln St., Cokeburg, is charged by state police with strangulation, simple assault and harassment over allegations he choked a woman and also punched her in the arms and torso about 8:45 p.m. Aug. 22 in his residence, court records show. Police filed the charges Tuesday before District Judge Curtis Thompson.

MONESSEN

Charges filed: Timothy A. Kershaw, 31, of 1436 Walnut Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and causing an accident involving damages to another vehicle, court records show. Police accuse him of driving a vehicle owned by Amy Wade without her permission and sideswiping a car parked in the 600 block of Chestnut Street, damages that were discovered about 10:50 a.m. Oct. 21. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charges via summons Tuesday.

ROSTRAVER

Shoplifting charges: Township police charged Maria N. Stringhill, 25, of East Huntingdon, Westmoreland County, with defiant trespass, possessing drug paraphernalia and retail theft. Stringhill allegedly had 10 DVDs whose packaging had been tampered with at Walmart in Rostraver Township. Inside the vehicle she arrived in, police found 55 empty stamp bags, a hypodermic syringe cap, silver spoon with residue on it and plastic push rod, police said. Stringhill was arrested for retail theft at the store less than two weeks earlier and signed a no trespass notice. Charges were filed Tuesday by summons from District Judge Joseph Dalfonso’s office.

SOMERSET

Drug case: Daniel James Stolze Jr., 29, of 105 Bebout Road, Peters Township, is charged by state police with drug possession with intent to deliver and drug possession over allegations he sold 10 stamp bags of heroin to a confidential informant about 3 p.m. Oct., 15, 2015, in a parking lot along Route 519 at Interstate 70, court records show. District Judge Curtis Thompson issued the charges last week via summons.
