MONONGAHELA

Drug arrest: Shane P. Kelly, 23, of 205 W. Main St., Apt. 34, Monongahela, was arrested Thursday by city police on a warrant charging him possession and possession with intent to deliver Xanax. Police went to his home Oct. 25 to investigate alleged drug sales, and said Kelly gave them a false name. He struggled with officers while being taken into custody and was placed in a police cruiser. Police said they later found 160 Xanax pills in a plastic bag on the floor where he had been sitting. He was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

WEST BROWNSVILLE

Retail theft: Douglas J. Stout, 24, of 423 Ridge St., Chestnut Ridge, was arrested Saturday on a retail theft warrant filed by West Brownsville police. He is accused of taking fishing lures from Walmart in West Brownsville Oct. 24. He was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and released.
