FRANKLIN
Crash: State police said two 20-year-olds escaped injury in a one-vehicle crash on Interstate 79, just north of Rolling Meadows Road in Franklin Townshilp, early Saturday morning. Police said Cameron J. Shoemaker of Okeechobee, Fla., and his passenger, Terry L. Elder Jr. of Granite City, Ill., were driving south about 1:25 a.m. when Shoemaker fell asleep at the wheel, drove onto the shoulder and struck a guardrail, rolling the pickup truck over.
SPRINGHILL
Trespass charge: James Dean North, 57, of Patterson Creek Road, Sycamore, was charged by state police with criminal trespass for allegedly entering a woman’s yard in the 300 block of Deep Valley Road in Springhill Township after she told him multiple times to leave the property Saturday evening.
WAYNESBURG
Criminal trespass alleged: Ryan Avery Vaughn Tyler, 30, of 119 Woodside Manor, Carmichaels, was charged by Waynesburg police with two counts of criminal trespass after multiple reports of a suspicious man on Waynesburg University’s campus and in the gym. Police said Tyler was seen in the gym Sept. 21, but when he was approached by a coach, Tyler ran away with a wallet in his hand
