CUMBERLAND

Paraphernalia charges: Jennifer M. Whyel, 23, of 174 March Ave., Nemacolin, was charged with four counts of possession of drug paraphernalia after Cumberland police said they found paraphernalia for marijuana and pills when police came to her home during a CYS check Sept. 13.

FRANKLIN

Batteries stolen: Batteries were stolen from a portable traffic sign owned by Walsh Construction Company that was parked on Route 188 in Franklin Township at some point between Sept. 12 and 26.

WHITELEY

Copper theft: Copper wiring was stolen from the Cumberland Mine substation on Stattler Road in Whiteley Township between Aug. 30 and Sept. 27, state police said.
