CUMBERLAND
Theft charges: Terry A. Ross Jr., 34, of 418 Roosevelt Blvd., Nemacolin, was charged by Cumberland police Wednesday with theft, receiving stolen property, prowling at night and five counts each of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Police said Ross tried to steal metal from a porch at 63 Diaz Ave. in Nemacolin about 9:30 p.m. Monday. Police said they also found Ross with prescription pills and drug paraphernalia.
DUNKARD
Car vandalized: A car parked 3082 S. Eighty-Eight Road in Dunkard Township was vandalized between Sept. 23 and 25 when someone broke the driver’s side window, state police said.
FRANKLIN
Batteries stolen: Four car batteries were stolen Sept. 13 or 14. from a state Department of Transportation sign board parked on Browns Creek Road in Franklin Township, state police said.
