There will be overnight closures of the inbound Liberty Tunnel in Pittsburgh through Friday night, weather permitting.

The inbound tunnel will close to traffic from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Thursday and from 8 p.m. Friday night through noon Saturday as crews conduct electrical conduit work, fire suppression pipe installation and concrete repairs in the tunnel.

There will be a single-lane restriction in the outbound tunnel from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. tonight through Thursday night for cleaning work.

McArdle Roadway will remain open in both directions. All inbound traffic will be detoured at the south portal of the Liberty Tunnel.
