FRANKLIN

Aggravated assault charge: Dawn Marie Bell, 18, of 450 Crucible Road, Rices Landing, was charged Friday with aggravated assault and harassment. State police said that Bell assaulted a staff member at WHS-Greene hospital in Franklin Township about 8 p.m. Thursday. Police said Bell pulled the staff member’s hair, pushed her against a wall and continued to strike her until other staff members intervened.

JEFFERSON

Store robbery: State police said a woman stole money from a cashier at the Dry Tavern Giant Eagle at 999 N. Eighty-Eight Road in Jefferson Township while he opened the cash register shortly before 1 p.m. Saturday. Police described the robber struggled with the cashier before getting some of the cash and leaving in a vehicle.
