Criminal mischief charge: Michael Porter of Waynesburg allegedly used a cane Friday to smash the television of his mother, Linda Porter of Holbrook, state police said.

Batteries stolen: Four batteries were stolen from a message board owned by Beach Construction Co. parked on Rolling Meadows Road between Sept. 20 and Oct. 4, state police said.

Theft: An external hard drive and multifunction computer mouse were stolen at WHS-Greene hospital between Sept. 26 and Oct. 10, state police said.

Disorderly conduct charge: John Dobbs, 41, of Wind Ridge, allegedly shouted obscenities outside a Richhill Township home at 9:10 p.m. Oct. 11, attempting to get the resident to come out and fight, state police said.
