State police said that the red SUV crossed into oncoming traffic Friday morning and hit an Windstream bucket truck on Route 21 near Rogersville.

Police said Brenda Sue Fox, 45, of Waynesburg, was driving east near West Run Road about 9 a.m. when she crossed into the westbound lane to deliver papers.

Police said Fox told them the sun was in her eyes and she did not see an oncoming vehicle, driven by Calvin Edward Henry, 45, of Waynesburg. The crash forced the truck into a ditch along the westbound edge of the roadway.

Henry was uninjured, while Fox was checked by paramedics at the scene, but not transported to the hospital. Center Township volunteer firefighters assisted state police.
