Liberty Tunnel closure planned
There will be overnight closures of the inbound Liberty Tunnel in Pittsburgh, Monday through Friday nights, weather permitting.
The inbound tunnel will close to traffic from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night as crews conduct electrical conduit work, fire suppression pipe installation and concrete repairs. The outbound tunnel will not be affected. McArdle Roadway will remain open in both directions.
All inbound traffic will be detoured at the south portal of the tunnel.
