Bad checks charge: George A. Bogochenko, 41, of 447 Buckingham Road, Scenery Hill, was charged Friday with writing a bad check in a private criminal complaint filed by Bentleyville Volunteer Fire Department. He is accused of giving the department a $200 check April 29 that was returned by the bank. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge Curtis Thompson.
Dirt bike stolen: Scott W. Bonnell of 1080 S. Hewitt Ave., Canton, told state police his son’s yellow 2008 Suzuki DRZ80 dirt bike was stolen Sept. 16.
Pole struck: Jacob Kunovic, 18, of Cecil, escaped injury about 5 a.m. Sunday when his vehicle went off the 3200 block of Millers Run Road, went down an embankment and hit a utility pole. Cecil police said he was taken to Canonsburg Hospital, where blood was drawn to determine his alcohol level.
Man wanted: Troy Frison, 40, of 303 Park Manor Road, Monessen, is wanted by city police on charges of aggravated assault, making terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment, court records show. Police accuse him of choking and threatening to kill Taryn Elliot with a knife or by drowning her in a bathtub about 8:20 a.m. Sunday at his residence. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso signed a warrant Monday for Frison’s arrest.
Woman wanted: Quilnesia Iris Foster, 27, of 417 First St., Monessen, is charged by city police with theft, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and driving with a suspended or revoked license, court records show. Police accuse her of stealing a vehicle owned by Darryl Jackson while it was parked about 1 a.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Rostraver Street. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso signed a warrant Monday for her arrest.
Woman charged: Kelly Rae Coleman, 33, of 100 Gibson St., Rostraver Township, is charged by city police with drug possession and driving under the influence after police said she suffered a drug overdose while seated in her vehicle about 1:20 p.m. Saturday at Watkins Street and Patton Avenue, court records show. Police also accuse her of having three stamp bags of heroin in her vehicle. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso signed a warrant Monday for her arrest.
Unsworn falsification charge: Adam C. Wallace, 38, of 519 E. Main St., Monongahela, was charged Thursday by Monongahela police with illegal transfer of a firearm and unsworn falsification for allegedly putting false information on a firearms application April 19. The charges were filed at the office of District Judge Curtis Thompson.
Burglary alleged: David Emerson Miller, 41, of 456 Middle St., West Brownsville, is charged by state police with burglary, trespassing, harassment and criminal mischief, court records show. Police accuse Miller of breaking a window to enter a residence in the 200 block of Route 88 and using a board to break out a vehicle’s window about 3:40 a.m. July 1. The office of District Judge Larry Hopkins issued a warrant Monday for Miller’s arrest.
Backpack stolen: Shea Stoner of 600 Beech St. told Washington police Tuesday his backpack containing medical supplies was stolen.
Bicycle, mower stolen: April Bonus of 1213 Wilna St. told Washington police Monday a lime green Jeep bicycle and yellow and green mower were stolen from her property.
Money stolen: Kevin Pliska of 1135 1/2 Bruce St. told Washington police Monday $300 was stolen in a burglary of his home.
Speakers, lighting stolen: Devin Scholato of 1381 Allison Ave. told Washington police Monday speakers and an LED lighting system were stolen from his vehicle.
Medication stolen: Mary Rigby of 100 S. Franklin St. told Washington police medication was stolen from her home.
Store burglarized: Washington police said the Uni-Mart/B-K Market Deli, 500 N. Main St., was burglarized. The break-in was discovered Monday. The burglar broke glass in the front door and then unlocked the door. Stolen from the store were lottery tickets and $206.
Check stolen: A check was reported stolen Monday from Don Greer’s Fashion Floors, 1265 Jefferson Ave., and cashed for $420 at a Washington business, city police said. The investigation is continuing.
