ROSTRAVER – A Rostraver Township man is in custody following a police raid on his house, where officers claimed to have seized a large amount of drugs Friday, including fentanyl and morphine.

District Judge Charles Christner sent Mark Ernest Dolfi, 50, to Westmoreland County jail on $500,000 bond following the 6 a.m. raid on his residence at 208 Liberty Ave., court records show.

Rostraver Township police and a state police Special Emergency Response Team served the warrant to locate a firearm Dolfi allegedly had in his possession Wednesday. Instead, officers said they found a cardboard box in the rear of a garage that contained a large amount of drugs.

A second search warrant was signed giving officers permission to expand the search, police stated in the affidavit supporting the criminal charges in the case.

Police said they seized seven vials of morphine sulfate for injecting, 105 vials of Hydromorphone and eight vials of fentanyl citrate, court records indicate.

Also found during the second search were 11 packs of Hydromorphone, seven packs of fentanyl and one Suboxone strip, the record alleges.

Police said officers also found syringes and heroin paraphernalia during the search.

Dolfi also was arrested by township police on heroin and cocaine charges following two raids in April 2016 on the same street where he now resides. He pleaded guilty to two counts of drug possession and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, drawing a 1-year jail sentence, online court records show.

He had been out of jail for only 11 days when he was arrested again Friday.

He faces new charges of drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
