- about redistricting published April 5 had an incorrect location for the event. The seminar will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Burnett Center Media Room at Washington & Jefferson College. The seminar is being hosted by the Washington County Bar Association as part of its public education programming.

- about a Bentleyville man’s attempt to have 12 summary accounts of animal cruelty against him dismissed, veterinary technician Chelsei Fleegal and Washington Area Humane Society police officer Laura Maloney were named as defense witnesses. Fleegal and Maloney were witnesses called by the prosecution.
