ALEPPO

Home burglary: A home on Fairview Road in Aleppo Township was burglarized March 26 or 27. A second-floor bedroom was entered, and a gun was stolen from a backpack, state police said.

CENTER

Tools stolen: Two nail guns and an acetylene torch set were stolen from a garage on School Street in Rogersville between April 5 and 7, state police said.

DUNKARD

Drug charge: Matthew Robert Zgela, 27, of 331 Colvin Run Road, Grindstone, was charged Friday with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after state police said they found him with three hypodermic needles and several pills after he was spotted breaking windows and chairs at a home at 365 N. Moreland St. in Dunkard Township Dec. 8, 2016.

MONONGAHELA

Theft charge: State police charged Ashley Marie Hall, 30, of 131 Alicia Main St., Greensboro, after troopers said she stole $185, an iPad and a digital camera from a friend living at 147 Hillman St. in Monongahela Township early Monday morning.

WAYNESBURG

Marijuana possession: Nicholas Swarrow, 21, of 160 Lippencott Road, Washington Township, and Brady P. Hogue, 20, of 68 N. Porter St., Waynesburg, were charged Thursday after Waynesburg police said they were found with marijuana and paraphernalia in their car Aug. 11 while on North Porter at Cherry streets in the borough. Police said a juvenile was in the car at the time, but did not release the person’s age or relationship to Swarrow and Hogue. Both men face charges of possession of a controlled substance, marijuana possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, corruption of minors and loitering.
