Flash flood watch issued for region
A flash flood watch is in effect for all of Southwestern Pennsylvania, including Washington and Greene counties, from 4 p.m. today through late tonight.
The National Weather Service said rainfall totals of 1 to 2 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. Heaviest rainfall is expected this evening. Flash flooding of small streams may result. Landslides are also a concern. Temperatures are expected to plunge overnight, with tomorrow’s high in the mid-40s.
