CHARTIERS

Tools stolen: Denny Fleeher told Chartiers police Monday tools were stolen from a construction trailer at 50 Hickory Ridge Road.

DONEGAL

Charged in stop: Patricia Smith, 53, of Greensburg, was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges filed by state police after a July 1 traffic stop on Interstate 70 west near the Claysville exit, Donegal. She is charged with receiving stolen property and traffic violations stemming from a one-vehicle crash. The vehicle was reported stolen from Amwell Township. Smith was placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

EAST WASHINGTON

Assault, disorderly charges: Scott Soukup, 32, of 179 Pleasantview Road, Finleyville, was arrested Monday by East Washington police on charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct, harassment and public drunkenness after he allegedly entered a home at 102 S. Wade Ave. Sunday and assaulted two residents. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

HOUSTON

Break-in charges: Ryan Patrick Williams, 35, of Washington, was charged by state police with burglary, criminal trespass, stalking, simple assault, defiant trespass, disorderly conduct, loitering and prowling, and harassment after he allegedly broke into the Becker Street home of his estranged wife early Sunday. Angela Williams said she awakened to see Ryan Williams standing in the bedroom doorway holding a crowbar. She said the two argued and he left. Police said the break-in occurred after he called her and her son multiple times, and after police advised him not to have contact with her after he came to the home. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and released from Washington County jail after posting $10,000 bond.

WASHINGTON

Firearms charges: Leonardo Smith, 19, of 161 Jollick Manor, was arrested Monday by Washington police on charges of person not to possess a firearm and terroristic threats after he allegedly threatened to shoot people at his home. When police arrived at the house, Smith was outside. Police said they found a loaded 9mm handgun in the pocket of his pants. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $20,000 bond.

Burglary, assault arrest: Jordan Dudley, 29, of 475 Henderson Ave., Washington, was arrested Monday by Washington police after he allegedly went twice that morning to a McCarrell Avenue home. He is charged with burglary and harassment for allegedly forcing his way into the home just after 7 a.m. He is charged with simple assault and theft for allegedly returning about two hours later, throwing a woman to the floor and stealing her cellphone. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County Jail on a $10,000 percentage bond.

Roommate charged: James Lee Blankinsop, 25, of 870 W. Chestnut St., was charged Tuesday by Washington police with simple assault and harassment after he allegedly struck his roommate in the face during a March 27 confrontation at their home. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Man assaulted: Amaar Alzayer, 22, of Morgantown, W.Va., told Washington police Monday he was punched in the head while at a gas station at 326 Euclid Ave., Saturday.

Harassment alleged: Julio Astfalk, 32, of 356 Maple Ave., will be charged with harassment after allegedly striking his wife during a confrontation at their home early Tuesday.

Windshield broken: Carlesha Cohen told Washington police early Tuesday the windshield of her car was broken while the car was parked near her home in the 600 block of Addison Street.
