CANONSBURG
Tree falls on vehicle: No one was injured when a tree fell about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday on an unoccupied vehicle owned by Sarah Glunt of Eighty Four while the vehicle was parked in the Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church lot at 112 W. Pike St., Canonsburg police said.
ROSTRAVER
Man jailed: Earl Lee Lint Jr., 38, of 514 Webster Hollow Road, Rostraver Township, is charged by township police with receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records show. He is accused of having 11 watches valued at $1,000 in a camper where he lives that were stolen in an April 14 burglary. Lint is in Westmoreland County jail on $5,000 bond set Tuesday by District Judge Charles Christner.
TWILIGHT
Dog abuse alleged: Thomas R. Morgan Jr., 68, of 230 State Road, Twilight, is charged by Washington Area Humane Society police with aggravated cruelty to an animal, court records show. Police accuse Morgan of denying his dog its prescriptions to treat a growth on its head, resulting in it being euthanized July 11. Morgan is free on $25,000 bond set Tuesday by District Judge Larry Hopkins.
