BENTLEYVILLE
Charged in theft: Brennan Scott Kossol, 35, of 1005 Fourth St., Monongahela, was arrested Wednesday night by state police on charges of robbery, theft, simple assault and harassment after he allegedly threw his girlfriend out of his vehicle and stole her cellphone while he was driving on Main Street in Bentleyville. He was taken into custody in East Bethlehem Township. Kossol was arraigned before District Judge Jesse Pettit and placed in Washington County jail on a $25,000 percentage bond.
CALIFORNIA
Trespass charge: Tiffany Vaughn, 24, of Beaver Falls, will be charged by California police with criminal trespass after she allegedly entered an apartment at 411 Green St. Saturday without the owner’s permission.
Marijuana, paraphernalia charges: Lawrence A. Papini, 23, of California, will be charged by California police with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after he allegedly was found with the items Saturday night on Fourth Street.
Theft charges: Brian Recardo Delacruz, 22, of Lancaster, was charged by California police with theft from a vehicle and retail theft after he allegedly stole two cases of beer from a Todd’s Beer Distributor delivery van while it was parked July 24 near the intersection of Third and Mechanic streets. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.
Warrant obtained: California police have obtained an arrest warrant for Danielle Ann Byrne, 39, of Coal Center, on a felony charge of retail theft after she allegedly stole clothing from Dollar General, Wood Street, Aug. 1. District Judge Joshua Kanalis issued the warrant.
CANONSBURG
Debit card used: Jean Purvis of Canonsburg told Canonsburg police her debit card was used without her permission to make three withdrawals at automated teller machines in Washington for a total of $477. Police said charges are pending.
CANTON
Fugitive arrest: John Henry Herring, 24, of 17 Mark Ave., Canton, was arrested as a fugitive from justice Tuesday by state police. He was wanted by the sheriff’s office in Ohio County, W.Va., for reportedly violating a protection-from-abuse order. A trooper took him into custody at his home. He was arraigned before District Judge Jesse Pettit and placed in Washington County jail without bond, pending extradition to West Virginia.
SOUTH STRABANE
Two arrested: Malachi Curtis Simmons, 46, who has no known address, and Noelle Angelica Catlin, 23, of 124 Charles St., Washington, were taken into custody on warrants obtained by South Strabane police charging them with felony retail theft and conspiracy stemming from a June 8 theft from Xfinity, 22 Old Mill Boulevard. He allegedly stole two sets of Beats Solo headphones valued at $599 while she allegedly distracted a clerk. Both were arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Jesse Pettit. Simmons was placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond. Catlin was released on $7,500 unsecured bond.
WASHINGTON
Girl missing: Nevreh Wisniewski, 14, of 212 Lincoln Terrace, was reported missing Wednesday to Washington police. She reportedly left her home about 1 p.m. to go to Family Dollar, Highland Avenue, to buy a drink, but never returned. She is white with purple and pink hair and hazel eyes. She is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 145 pounds. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, black shorts and black and red Nike shoes.
