DUNKARD

Operating a boat while intoxicated alleged: Jaymes Daniel Molisee, 26, of Maidsville, W.Va., was charged with two counts of operating a watercraft with a high rate of alcohol, along with reckless operating of a watercraft and 11 summary boating violations. On Sunday, a state Fish and Boat Commission water conservation officer saw a pontoon boat pass through Point Marion Lock and Dam on the Monongahela River headed toward Cheat River. The boat’s registration was difficult to read. Shortly after, the boat returned upriver faster than a slow, no-wake speed with passengers outside the railing. A child had an adult life vest on that did not fit. Molisee, the operator, was taken to Waynesburg Borough Police station on suspicion of intoxication and had a blood-alcohol content of 0.156 percent.

Simple assault charge: Robert Joseph Hughes, 28, of 320 Minor St., Greensboro, was charged with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief from an alleged domestic disturbance Friday. State police were called to 214 Adelaide Ave. in Bobtown just after 1:30 a.m. Samantha Jo Swaney told officers her fiancé, Hughes, pushed her down cement stairs from the front porch, causing her to fall through the wrought-iron railing. Swaney was transported to WHS-Greene hospital, Waynesburg, for a shoulder injury.

FRANKLIN

Theft: A woman reported $241 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle while it was parked on the 1400 block of East High Street Friday.

MONONGAHELA

Three-vehicle crash: No one was transported from a multivehicle crash at Route 88 and Mapletown Road Thursday at 5:45 p.m. Jessica I. Clites, 40, of Dilliner, was stopped in the northbound lane of Route 88 attempting to turn left onto Mapletown Road. Police said Wesley D. Menear, 39, of Bobtown, hit Clites in the rear, causing Clites to hit the front of another vehicle driven by Sheila Zalar, 52, of Greensboro, which was stopped at Mapletown Road. Clites and Menear’s vehicles were towed from the scene. Clites had a 15-year-old male passenger with her with a suspected minor injury. Menear was cited for not driving at a safe speed.
