CANONSBURG

Probation violation: Jesse McMasters, 27, of Canonsburg, was taken into custody late Thursday on a probation violation after police were called to the Ivy Court home of his estranged wife. She told police he had come to her home in violation of a court order. When police arrived, McMasters opened the door. He was placed in Washington County jail on the violation.

Money stolen: Sharon Holmes, of 702 S. Central Ave., told Canonsburg police Thursday $250 was stolen from her wallet she had lost that day. Her wallet was returned without the money.

WASHINGTON

Drug arrest: Donald Stanley Knupp Jr., 31, of 520 W. Chestnut St., Washington, was arrested Thursday by a Washington County Drug Task Force detective on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver cocaine and possession of paraphernalia. The task force obtained a search warrant from Judge Valarie Costanzo after a five-month investigation involving cocaine trafficking in and around his barbershop at 520 W. Chestnut St. Found during the search was more than $5,000 and more than 100 grams of suspected cocaine along with a digital scale. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and released after posting $2,000 of a $20,000 percentage bond.

Medication stolen: Ruth Ann Scott of Hall Avenue told Washington police Thursday her prescription medication was stolen when it was picked up by another person at CVS, West Beau Street. Charges are pending against the alleged thief.

Game player stolen: Stephanie Brown of Lang Avenue told Washington police Thursday an Xbox game console was stolen in a burglary of her home. It appears the burglar may have entered the home through a window.

Items stolen: Martin Willis Jr. and Patricia Bender of Clarksville told Washington police Thursday keys to their car, house and mailbox, a cellphone and a purse containing a debit card and identification were stolen from their vehicle while parked in a driveway on Burton Avenue.
