False identification charge: Brian Keith Karadavut, 31, of 64 Second St., Crucible, was charged with false identification to police and possession of drug paraphernalia Sunday after Cumberland Township police said they stopped a car on Ceylon Road and Karadavut, who was the passenger, provided an alias instead of his legal name when asked for identification. A glass smoking pipe was found in the passenger area, along with a digital scale near the center console, police said. Karadavut was taken to the Greene County jail on outstanding warrants.
