CALIFORNIA

Theft arrest: Kyle Baker, 22, whose last known address was in Denbo, was arraigned Tuesday before District Judge Joshua Kanalis on charges filed by California police in two cases. He is charged with access device fraud and retail theft for allegedly taking his grandmother’s debit card and using it to make $607.90 in fraudulent charges Aug. 5 and 6. He was charged with theft and unauthorized use of a vehicle for allegedly stealing a dirt bike Monday from a home in Denbo. He was placed in Washington County jail. Kanalis denied him bond because Baker reportedly could not provide a valid address.

Theft charges: Chase Hannan, 21, of Pittsburgh, and Bailey Robert Jenkins, 21, of Uniontown, face charges of theft, receiving stolen property and conspiracy for allegedly stealing two bicycles from 117 Third St. Aug. 22, California police said. Jenkins also will be charged with criminal mischief for damage done to one of the bicycles.

Disorderly house citations: William Carl Britton II, 23, and Brian Lee Dupain, 21, both of Washington, will be cited by California police for violating the borough’s disorderly house ordinance by allegedly hosting a loud party Aug. 24.

CECIL

Two arrested: Justin Anthony Barr, 23, of McKeesport, and Yazmine Debora Zaltash, 19, of 1181 Reissing Road, Cecil, were arrested Tuesday afternoon after a domestic dispute at Zaltash’s home. Both are accused of assaulting and threatening each other. They also allegedly damaged one another’s vehicles. Both were arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of simple assault, terroristic threats, harassment and criminal mischief. Zaltash was released from Washington County jail after posting a $10,000 percentage bond. Barr remains in jail on a $10,000 percentage bond.

HANOVER

Teen charged: Braxton Brice Williams, 18, of Ravenswood, W.Va., was charged by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement with underage drinking during a minor patrol enforcement effort Tuesday in the parking lots of KeyBank Pavilion, Hanover.

MORRIS

Burning trash: Paul M. Howard, 30, of 86 Charles St., Washington, was cited for scattering rubbish, dangerous burning, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief after state police on patrol discovered a fire in a parking lot at state game lands at Owl Hollow and Quaker Ridge roads Sunday. Morris Township firefighters put out the blaze. Information found in the pile of burning trash led to Howard, police said.

WASHINGTON

Vehicle damaged: Maria Nickler of Washington told Washington police Tuesday the roof of her vehicle was dented, the gas cap bent and passenger side mirror damaged while the vehicle was parked in the 300 block of Allison Avenue.

Items stolen: Robert Romeo of Irwin told Washington police Tuesday his passport and about $200 in gift cards were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked in the 400 block of Addison Street. He told police when he got into his vehicle he noticed his backpack and lunch had been opened.

Burglary attempt: An employee of All About Pets, 829 Jefferson Ave., told Washington police Tuesday a window was broken in an apparent burglary attempt.

Game player stolen: Scott Kunale of 770 W. Chestnut St. told Washington police Tuesday his Playstation 3, several games and $30 were stolen from his residence Monday.

Laptop stolen: Scott McFall of 217 Third St. told Washington police Tuesday his laptop computer was stolen from his unlocked pickup truck Aug. 23.

Man assaulted: Brandon T. Hamilton, 22, of Washington, told Washington police Tuesday he was assaulted in the 200 block of Lower East Prospect Avenue by two men. He told police he was lured to the area by a former girlfriend. He was then punched and kicked by the two men. Hamilton was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment. Charges are pending against his alleged attackers.

Window broken: Richard Brandon of 221 S. College St. told Washington police early Wednesday a front window was broken at his apartment.

Girls charged: Two Washington girls, ages 12 and 13, were charged by Washington police with disorderly conduct after they allegedly threw rocks and gravel at passing vehicles near the intersection of Shannon and Ridge avenues Tuesday.

Harassment alleged: Paul Fedore, 30, of 310 Hillside Ave., will be charged by Washington police with harassment after he allegedly struck a 28-year-old woman during an incident at their home Tuesday.
