CANONSBURG
Assault charge: Paul E. Hollenbach III, 41, of 132 E. Pike St., Canonsburg, was charged by Canonsburg police with simple assault and harassment following an incident at his residence Monday afternoon. Police said Hollenbach allegedly threw his wife to the floor before pulling her throughout the house by her hair. He also allegedly spit in her face multiple times
CARROLL
Nurses assaulted: Josiah Royce Wells, 18, of 832 Fellsburg Road, Rostraver Township, is charged by Carroll police with aggravated assault, simple assault, resisting arrest and marijuana possession, court records show. Police accuse Wells of assaulting a nurse and nursing assistant while attempting to escape from Mon Valley Hospital, 1163 Country Club Road, about 1 p.m. Sunday. District Judge Mark Wilson signed a warrant Monday for Wells’ arrest.
HANOVER
Theft charge: The Hanover Township Sewer Authority filed a private criminal complaint against Jamie Lynn Speer, of 35 Mount View Drive, Burgettstown. The complaint charges Speer with issuing bad checks and theft of services. Speer allegedly issued three bad checks over the summer, in the amounts of $383, $1,191 and $1,191, to pay for sewer services. The complaint said the bank denied the existence of the account Speer used, and no restitution has yet been made.
MONESSEN
Man wanted: Dimond Shannae Jackson, 25, of 43 Aliquippa Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with drug possession with intent to deliver, illegal possession of firearms, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia, court records. The charges stem from a Nov. 29 search of his residence that allegedly produced 155 stamp bags of heroin, various pills, marijuana and weapons and ammunition. Senior District Judge Herbert Mitchell Jr. signed a warrant Monday for Jackson’s arrest.
NORTH CHARLEROI
Assaults alleged: John Jeffery Kossar, 48, and Heather Ann McGuire, 43, both of 704 Conrad Ave., North Charleroi, are each charged by Charleroi Regional police with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct stemming from a fight at their home about 3:45 a.m. Monday, court records show. District Judge Larry Hopkins issued the charges in summons.
NORTH FRANKLIN
Retail theft: Two Washington women were charged with retail theft after they allegedly took nearly $200 worth of merchandise from The Finish Line store at the Washington Crown Center. Ariel Nicole Braun, 23, of 380 Moon Road, and Miriah Alexis Bedillion, 20, of 351 Locust Ave., were each charged by North Franklin Township police with retail theft.
WASHINGTON
Fugitives jailed: Marquis Dwight Brown, 26, and Zachary Thomas Watson, 35, both of Washington, are being held without bail in Washington County jail as fugitives wanted in Morgantown, W.Va., for conspiracy to commit vicious mutilation, court records show. Brown and Watson are awaiting extradition to Monongalia County, where they are accused of conspiring with two other men to assault the victim in the 300 block of Chestnut Street about 2 a.m. Aug. 26. U.S. marshals took them into custody and processed them at the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
Drug charges: Keith Lewis Painter, 63, of 116 Cancilla Drive, Canonsburg, was charged by an officer with Washington Health System with two counts each of disorderly conduct, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after he allegedly smoked marijuana while in his room, which he shared with another patient. On Nov. 15, the officer said they found marijuana in his bathroom, jacket and pocket as well as a smoking pipe in his pocket.
PFA violation charge: Brandon Julius Templeton, 32, of no address available, was charged by Washington police for allegedly violating a protection from abuse order against him. Police said that on Nov. 21, he left a voicemail for a person whom he was court-ordered to not contact.
DUI charge: Eugene Washington Jr., 56, of 132 Highland Ave., Washington, was charged by state police with possession of marijuana, driving under the influence and driving under suspension following a traffic stop on Highland Avenue Nov. 9. Police said Washington failed a sobriety test and had a blood-alcohol content of 0.093 percent.
