WAYNESBURG – Greene County Sheriff Brian Tennant released the following activity reports for January.

• The office processed 26 civil actions and served documents to 15 defendants related to civil actions.
• It processed six real estate sales, served papers related to nine real estate sales and posted five real estate notices.
• The office processed 12 protection-from-abuse actions and served papers related to nine protection-from-abuse actions. No protection-from-abuse violations were investigated.
• The office processed 120 licenses to carry concealed weapons and two licenses to sell firearms.
• Sheriff’s deputies served one warrant.
• The office processed four documents involving personal property actions and served six documents involving a personal property action.
• Deputies transported nine state prison inmates and made 45 county inmate transports.
• The office provided assistance on four occasions to other law enforcement agencies.
• Mileage traveled by deputies for the month was 1,505.
