CALIFORNIA

Disorderly houses: California police charged Donti Felton Harris, 19, of Pittsburgh, and Zachary Rappetto, 21, of Lincoln University, with violating the borough’s disorderly house ordinance stemming from separate incidents earlier this month. Police were called to Harris’ apartment at Vulcan Village Feb. 8 and to Rappetto’s apartment on Temperance Way Feb. 9.

CHARLEROI

Two charged: Robert Edgar Hazelbaker, 50, of 133 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, and Tanya Blair, 46, of 642 Second St., Donora, were arrested Wednesday afternoon by Charleroi Regional police after an incident at 133 Fallowfield. Hazelbaker is charged with strangulation, terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after he allegedly choked and threatened his 15-year-old son. Blair, identified in court paperwork as Hazelbaker’s girlfriend, is charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct, accused of also assaulting the boy. They were arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released on their own recognizance.

CHARTIERS

Doors kicked: Hazel Bradshaw of Pike Street, Meadow Lands, told Chartiers police Wednesday vandals kicked an exterior door and interior door at her home, damaging both.

MONESSEN

Man charged: City police charged Charles Burnfield, 31, of Webster Hollow Road, Rostraver Township, by summons Thursday with possession of an offensive weapon and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers allegedly found a Blackjack knife and a paper bag containing “numerous empty stamp bags of suspected heroin” in Burnfield’s vehicle during a traffic stop on Donner Avenue Tuesday night, according to court records.

Woman charged: Trisa L. Stickle, 26, of Dunbar Township, Fayette County, was charged by city police with retail theft and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. Police allege she was shoplifting at Dollar General on Donner Avenue on Wednesday morning. They said they found a metal crack pipe in her pocket when they took her into custody on Third Street. Court records show Stickle was arraigned that day before District Judge Joseph Dalfonso and was being held in Westmoreland County jail on $1,500 bond.

MONONGAHELA

Pair charged: Brian Joshua Porter, 30, of 1009 Chess St., and Ashley Katrina Anthony, 29, of 621 Lincoln St., both of Monongahela, are charged by city police with endangering the welfare of children and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop about 6:20 p.m. Feb. 6 at Chess and Second streets, court records show. Police accuse them of having heroin paraphernalia in their vehicle in the vicinity of a 3-year-old child. District Judge Curtis Thompson issued the charges Thursday by summons.

NORTH FRANKLIN

Assault charge: Alyssa Adkins, 28, of 65 W. Hallam Ave., Washington, will be charged by North Franklin police with simple assault and harassment after she allegedly assaulted a 35-year-old woman outside a home in the 100 block of Hamilton Street Monday.

Theft reported: North Franklin police said Wednesday $5,479.81 was stolen over the past month from Piercing Pagoda, Washington Crown Center.

NORTH STRABANE

Endangerment, assault arrest: Christopher R. Braddock, 33, of 160 View Ave., Strabane, was arrested Wednesday night by North Strabane police on charges of endangering the welfare of children, simple assault and harassment. He is accused of shoving his wife onto the couch, causing her to land on top of their 6-month-old son, and shoving his mother-in-law into a vehicle during a confrontation at their home. He allegedly fled but was taken into custody by Chartiers police. Braddock was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released from Washington County jail Thursday after posting $25,000 bond.

Theft charge: Paul N. Morris Jr., 36, who has no known address, was charged this week with theft by North Strabane police after he allegedly stole his father’s wedding band Feb. 4 from South Hills Rehabilitation Center, 201 Village Drive. The father is a patient at the facility, according to court documents. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Stalking charge: John F. Popp, 57, of 119 Dairy Road, Washington, was charged this week by North Strabane police with stalking after he allegedly entered his estranged wife’s North Strabane home last December. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Theft, receiving charges: Cassidy Taylor McMillin, 21, of 1116 First St., Canonsburg, was charged this week by North Strabane police with theft, receiving stolen property and theft by failure to make required disposition of funds after she allegedly failed to make a $467 bank deposit while working at Sonic, 2611 Washington Road, Jan. 4. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Drug charges: Cheynenne Elizabeth Taylor, 22, of 1045 McElree Road, Washington, was charged this week by North Strabane police with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia stemming from a Feb. 5 traffic stop on Weavertown Road at Interstate 79. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Charged in crash: Carl Eugene Wright, 45, of 134 Belmont Ave., Clarksville, was charged by North Strabane police with leaving the scene of an accident, failure to render aid and traffic violations after a Feb. 7 hit-and-run crash in a garage at The Meadows Casino. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Pole hit: Keith Gordon, 26, of Cheektowaga, N.Y., and Dylan Sarvel, 20, of 126 Benton Drive, Canonsburg, escaped injury Wednesday in a two-vehicle crash in the 100 block of McClelland Road. North Strabane police said Gordon turned into the path of Sarvel’s vehicle and then crashed into a light pole.

ROSTRAVER

Attempted burglary charge: Bryan J. Murray, 34, of South Union Township, Fayette County, was charged Wednesday by Rostraver police with attempted burglary, simple assault and criminal mischief. Police said in court papers police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 300 block of Patton Road early Tuesday afternoon. A man who lives at the home reportedly told police Murray had kicked the front door in an attempt to get inside and damaged two windows before he left in his truck. A tire on the resident’s truck was reportedly slashed, according to court papers. Court records show Murray was arraigned Thursday and is free on a $5,000 percentage bond set by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

SOUTH STRABANE

Assault charge: Sierra Nicole Kelley, 23, of 139 Church St., Washington, was charged by South Strabane police with simple assault after allegedly confronting a woman and spitting on her as she held her daughter outside a Trinity Point restaurant Feb. 1. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Endangerment charge: Heather Lynn Cain, 34, of 45 Pitt St., Clarksville, was charged this week by state police with endangering the welfare of children, driving under the influence, reckless endangerment and traffic violations after she allegedly was seen Jan. 31 driving erratically on Interstate 79 northbound near the Racetrack Road exit, South Strabane. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

WASHINGTON

Girl missing: Heavenly Turner, 15, of 205 E. Hallam Ave., Washington, has been reported missing to Washington police by her mother. The girl reportedly ran from her home Wednesday after getting into a fight with her mother. She is black, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing black pants, a blue coat, black fuzzy slippers and a gray and black Adidas backpack. She could be in the Avella area.

Woman robbed: A 30-year-old Washington woman told Washington police Wednesday she was robbed of $20 as she walked near LeMoyne Avenue and East Maiden Street about 1:15 a.m. Tuesday. She told police a black man holding a knife and wearing a brown coat and black knit cap put his arm around her neck and demanded money.

House burglarized: Cody Fernandez of 32 Oregon St. told Washington police Wednesday a gold necklace and $650 were stolen in a burglary of his home. He came home to find the porch window open and his house ransacked.
