CALIFORNIA

Neighbor arrested: Marquell Atkinson, 41, of 960 Pike Run Drive, Coal Center, was arrested Wednesday by California police on charges of carrying a firearm without a license, reckless endangerment, terroristic threats and simple assault after he allegedly pulled a gun on a neighbor during an argument. He was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald and released on $25,000 unsecured bond.

CANTON

Threats, assault alleged: Eric Ellis, 24, of 123 Maple Terrace, Washington, was arrested Wednesday by state police after he allegedly sent 43 text messages to one woman and threatened another at Belvedere Acres, Canton. He was arraigned before District Judge Traci McDonald on charges of terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment. He was placed in Washington County Jail on a $15,000 percentage bond.

McDONALD

Charged in fight: Kevin Joseph Bober, 25, and Justin Lee Tkach, 24, both of McDonald, face charges of disorderly conduct stemming from a fight early Wednesday inside Michael’s Tavern, 341 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald police said.

MONESSEN

Man jailed: Raymond Charles Threet, 34, of Pittsburgh, is charged by city police with drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance and giving an officer a false identity, court records show. Police accuse Threet of having three bricks of heroin, a rock of crack and marijuana during a traffic stop about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of Schoonmaker Avenue. He was placed in Westmoreland County Jail on $10,000 bond.

SOUTH STRABANE

Faces theft charges: Louanne Saunoras, 43, of Canonsburg, will be charged by South Strabane police with retail theft after she allegedly stole items valued at $192 on June 27 and $111.98 on July 3 from Kohl’s, Strabane Square.

Information stolen: Jacqueline Moore of South Strabane told township police Tuesday that her personal information was used in an attempt to open an account at QVC.

WASHINGTON

Window broken: Bobbie Jo Deems of Church Street told Washington police Tuesday that a brick was thrown at a window on her home, breaking it.

Toddler hit: Taylor Lennex of Jollick Manor told Washington police Tuesday that her 4-year-old daughter was hit by a firework shot from a neighbor’s home. The girl was checked by emergency medical personnel. Police said charges are pending.

Information used: Steven Elliott of West Walnut Street told Washington police that his personal information was used to open a checking account almost two years ago at Huntington National Bank. He learned of the account after receiving calls from a collection agency about checks written on the account for almost $1,200. That account has been closed.

Card, cash stolen: Rayvon Baker of West Walnut Street told Washington police Wednesday that his bank card and $80 were stolen from his unlocked vehicle.

Garage, vehicle damaged: John Burnett of Washington told Washington police Wednesday that windows were broken by rocks at a garage on Duncan Avenue. His car, which was parked inside the car, also had the hood and roof damaged by the rocks.

Church entered: An employee of Church of the Covenant, 267 E. Beau St., told police that the church was entered Wednesday by two men who fled in a vehicle when confronted. It is not believed anything was stolen.

Man assaulted: Benjamin Berdine, 25, of Washington, told Washington police Wednesday that he was assaulted by his cousin during a confrontation at a home on Fayette Street. He was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment of facial injuries. Police said charges are pending.
