Waynesburg man ordered to stand trial in child sex assault case
WAYNESBURG – A Waynesburg man accused of asking a 14-year-old for nude photographs and molesting her at his home was ordered to stand trial at his preliminary hearing Wednesday morning.

Todd Allen Henderson
Todd Allen Henderson, 41, of 215 S. Spring St., faces charges of aggravated indecent assault, child pornography, statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors.
His attorney, Gary Graminski, requested a modification of bail that District Judge David Balint denied. Henderson remains in Greene County jail on $100,000 cash bond.
The teenage girl took the witness stand Wednesday. The Observer-Reporter does not identify victims of sexual assault.
Waynesburg Borough police Officer Tom Ankrom asked the alleged victim to describe the events of the April day on which Henderson is said to have assaulted her.
The girl said Henderson touched her and exposed himself to her. She also testified that Henderson asked her to send a nude photograph.
Graminski took issue with the fact the alleged victim could not remember the specific day in April the assault reportedly took place.
“She’s 14, and she should have better cognizance of dates,” he said.
Waynesburg Borough police received a report of possible child sexual abuse from Greene County Children and Youth Services and spoke to the teenager at the police station April 24.
Police said the girl was hesitant to talk during her first interview, but provided more detail when questioned again.
“I didn’t want to talk about it, but I did because I wanted him (Ankrom) to know,” she said in court.
During the second interview, she said Henderson molested her at his home in April. Henderson was interviewed by borough police in early June and allegedly provided written and oral confessions. Ankrom said at the preliminary hearing Henderson initially denied anything sexual occurred, but admitted it once police said they had read sexual messages between the two on the girl’s phone.
Police said there was a conversation on the phone in which a person alleged to be Henderson made a comment about not having any condoms. The girl told police, according to the criminal complaint, that she sent Henderson a topless photo.
After receiving the photo he requested, Henderson told police the girl came to his home and the two were alone, court documents indicate. Henderson allegedly told police he exposed himself to the girl.
The teen testified Wednesday she initially ignored Henderson’s messages, but felt pressured to send him the photo.
