CARMICHAELS
Disorderly conduct charge: Melissa Dawn Grim, 35, of 209 Woodside Drive, Carmichaels, was charged with disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and public drunkenness after Cumberland Township police said they received a report June 30 a woman was throwing rocks at vehicles at 303 W. George St. in Carmichaels.
FRANKLIN
Drug charges: State police Thursday charged Julie Marie Gipe, 38, of 57 Short St., Mather, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after investigators said a search of her vehicle on April 14, 2017, while at SCI-Greene prison in Franklin Township found fentanyl packs, pills and drug paraphernalia.
JEFFERSON
Domestic dispute: Brandon John Laschen, 26, of 221 Pitt Gas Road, Clarksville, was charged with strangulation, simple assault and harassment after state police said he grabbed his girlfriend’s throat twice during an argument at their Jefferson Township home about 9 p.m. Thursday. He was arraigned Friday morning by District Judge David Balint and released on $5,000 cash bond.
