SOUTH STRABANE

Motorcyclist sought: South Strabane police are looking for a man who was riding a motorcycle on East Beau Street and in Windsor Highlands Wednesday night before dumping the bike in a wooded area. Police first spotted the motorcycle near Floral Hill Drive. It then turned into Windsor Highlands, going through several stop signs before driving through a yard on Lisa Drive and over a hill toward East Beau. The motorcycle was found abandoned. A resident of the 1400 block told police a young man ran in the direction of Davis School Road. The motorcycle, which was impounded, was registered to a West Virginia man.

Woman assaulted: Stephanie Brown, 24, of Washington, told South Strabane police early Friday she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend at Motel 6, Motel 6 Drive. She said he asked her to meet him at the motel. He allegedly punched her in the head, grabbed her by the shirt, ripping it, threw her to the sidewalk and kicked her. He then fled. Police plan to obtain a warrant for his arrest.

Credit card accessed: Brenda Penderville of South Strabane told township police Thursday an unauthorized purchase was made for $175.48 in March using her credit card information.

Three injured: Three people were slightly injured in a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on Locust Avenue at the ramp from Interstate 79 northbound, South Strabane police said. Jean A. Fantoni, 77, of Joseph Drive, Canonsburg, was going east on Locust when police said she reportedly went through a red light, striking a vehicle driven by Gregory Goldsrough, 58, of Alexandria, Va., who was coming off the ramp onto Locust. Fantoni, Goldsrough and Atsuko Kurosu, 50, of Pittsburgh, a passenger in Goldsrough’s car, all refused treatment for minor injuries.

WASHINGTON

Drug arrest: Grace Africa, 53, of Washington, was arraigned Wednesday before District Judge Robert Redlinger on two drug cases filed against her by state police. She is charged with possession and possession with intent to deliver heroin after she allegedly sold the drug to a confidential informant at a home on East Maiden Streeet in November 2015. Africa also is accused of selling a narcotic painkiller to an undercover trooper in October 2016 at a house on Penn Avenue. She was placed in Washington County jail on $20,000 bond.

Harassment alleged: Aaron R. Lechner, 19, of 119 W. Walnut St., Washington, will be charged by Washington police with harassment after he allegedly shoved Rachel Stoner of Oakdale and slapped her on the arm during an incident Thursday afternoon at Pizza Hut, 184 W. Chestnut St. Stoner, who is a shift manager, reportedly told Lechner he could not leave for the day until he completed his duties. Police said Lechner left before they arrived.

Debit card used: Ruth Kneff of Ewing Street told Washington police Thursday her debit card was used to make a $62 purchase at Isaly’s, 2400 Jefferson Ave., Canton Township.
