Theft charges: Michael Glenn Greenwood, 45, of 84 S. Richhill St., Waynesburg, faces charges of theft and receiving stolen property. Greene County Regional police said they searched a home at 412 Hoy Run Road in Perry Township while investigating the theft of $22,000 worth of power tools and equipment from a Sycamore property Friday, and found several stolen items, including a push mower, trimmer and chainsaw. Police said Greenwood and Jacob Allen Fonner, who was previously charged in connection with the theft, were both present for the sale of the stolen items.
RICHHILL
Rollover crash: A woman was transported to Washington Health System-Greene after a single-vehicle crash at 2:14 p.m. May 7. Kelli Ann Whipkey, 49, of Wind Ridge, was headed west on Route 21 near the Fairview Church Road intersection when she failed to negotiate a curve, crossed into the opposing lane and drove off the road. Whipkey’s vehicle hit an embankment, rolled and ended upright, facing south in the westbound lane. A traffic citation was filed against Whipkey.
