Court cases

Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Among those appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:

Ronald Dale Clutter, 63, 64 Crestvue Drive, Washington; three counts of theft; charged June 30; sentence – nine to 23 months in jail, four years of probation, restitution and no contact with the victim.

Baleigh Ann Smalley, 20, 599 E. Maiden St., Apt. 3, Washington; disorderly conduct; charged Sept. 20; sentence – $300 fine.

Jennifer A. Teeter, 42, 236 Chess St., Apt. 1, Monongahela; retail theft; charged Oct. 19; sentence – 12 months of probation, restitution and no contact with Wine and Spirits.

John R. Marchando III, 60, 209 Route 481, Fredericktown; five counts of certificate not to be assigned in blank, two counts of transfer of ownership of vehicle, 25 counts of application for certificate of title and 29 counts of violations of regulations; charged Aug. 23, 2014; sentence – $2,675 fine.

Colleen Lynn Main, 33, 1735 Forest Green Drive, Coraopolis; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Nov. 17; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Maria Nicole Stringhill, 26, 1614 Poplar St., Greensburg; two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Oct. 10 and Jan. 27; sentence – 18 months of probation and no contact with Home Depot.

Katrina M. Och, 24, 104 Erwin Road, Wheeling, W.Va.; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Dec. 26; sentence – six months of probation.

Brian Joshua Porter, 30, 1009 Chess St., Monongahela; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Feb. 6; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Ashley K. Anthony, 30, 621 Lincoln Ave., Monongahela; possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Feb. 6; sentence – 12 months of probation.

Appearing before Judge John F. DiSalle:

Erik John Tarnik, 30, 430 Chartiers Ave., Canonsburg; driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license; charged Aug. 25, 2016; sentence – two years in the intermediate punishment program, eight months on electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine, 24-month driver’s license suspension, 12 months of ignition interlock device and 100 hours of community service.

Appearing before Judge Valarie Costanzo:

Tanya Ann Diehl, 36, 6055 Maple Grove Road, Bulger; simple assault and defiant trespass; charged July 30; sentence – two years in the intermediate punishment program, three months on electronic home monitoring, 12 months of probation, 100 hours of community service and no contact with the victim.

Gaylord Dorsey, 66, 66 Interstate Drive, Claysville; possession of child pornography; charged March 31, 2016; sentence – two years of probation.

Dylan Ryan Yater, 25, 1172 Brush Run Road, Trailer 5, Washington; possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged July 15, 2016; sentence – 24 months of probation and 50 hours of community service.

David Roy Campbell, 36, 1812 Babcock Boulevard, Pittsburgh; three counts of simple assault; charged Aug. 26; sentence – four years of probation and no contact with the victims.

Danielle Metts, 49, 130 Sugar Maple Circle, Washington; retail theft; charged Oct. 6; sentence – 18 months in the intermediate punishment program, six months on electronic home monitoring, 200 hours of community service and no contact with Dollar General.

Marlo W. Gergory, 46, 219 Moffat St., Carnegie; public drunkenness; charged Feb. 21, 2017; sentence – 45 to 90 days in jail.

Lisa Kay Widener, 48, 21 Cass Lane, Westland; retail theft; charged Oct. 15; sentence – 12 months of probation and no contact with Dollar General.

Yvonne M. Cerminara, 58, 159 Gateshead Drive, McMurray; retail theft; charged Dec. 16, 2017; sentence – two years in the intermediate punishment program, three months on electronic home monitoring, restitution, 75 hours of community service and no contact with Heisler’s Market.

Michael Charles Tumbarello, 35, 1061 Park Ave., Huntington, N.Y.; possession of a controlled substance; charged Jan. 29; sentence – 12 months of probation and 100 hours of community service.

Samuel Leon Wilson, 29, 42600 National Road, Lot 75, Belmont, Ohio; theft by deception; charged Feb. 17, 2017; sentence – four years of probation, restitution and no contact with the victim.

Sarah C. Durham, 37, 125 A Fryes Lane, McDonald; corruption of minors; charged Feb. 16, 2017; sentence – 12 months of probation, 50 hours of community service and no contact with the victims.

Samantha Nicol Trussell, 25, 78 Point Pleasant Road, Bulger; unsworn falsification; charged Jan. 6; sentence – 12 months of probation and 50 hours of community service.

Troy Marvin Cole Jr., 27, 7521 Susquehanna St., Pittsburgh; possession of a controlled substance; charged July 31; sentence – 12 months of probation and 50 hours of community service.

Kyle R. Caldwell, 22, 725 Broad St., Washington; terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person and simple assault; charged Feb. 4; sentence – 18 months of probation and 25 hours of community service.

The following recently appeared in Washington County Court for first offenses of driving under the influence and were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to have their records expunged: Marshall Collins Dolfi, 24, 160 Mohawk Drive, Pittsburgh; Ronald Lee Baird, 70, 1 Main St., Ellsworth; Braden Russell Pace, 32, 500 Hinson St., Hohenwald, Tenn.; Kathy Paul, 60, 520 Tannehill St., Canonsburg; William Michael Broce, 57, 297 Gilkeson Road, Eighty Four; Alexander Nicola, 65, 3386 Millers Run Road, Cecil; and Sidney James Lauther, 69, 810 First St., Canonsburg.
