Cook to hold Bentworth town hall
Rep. Bud Cook, R-West Pike Run, is inviting Bentworth School District residents and other concerned citizens to join him June 14 for his next town hall meeting.
This informational meeting will be held in the Bentworth High School-Large Group Instruction Room, 75 Bearcat Drive, Bentleyville, beginning at 6 p.m.
Among the topics to be discussed are school safety, an update on the drained Cokeburg Dam and a proposed clean-up day. Cook will open the meeting with an update on current local and state legislative issues. The forum will then transition to a panel discussion where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and further discuss issues impacting the community. In addition to Cook, panel members are expected to include borough council members, county commissioners, school board members and township supervisors.
