Driver faces charge: State police said Vincent M. Fazio, 26, of Donora, will be charged with driving under the influence after he was found unconscious behind the wheel of his running vehicle in the parking lot of East Buffalo Presbyterian Church, 180 E. Buffalo Church Road, at 4 a.m. May 20.
CANONSBURG
Vandalism reported: James Arnold of Scott Way told Canonsburg police that he found a swastika drawn on his porch when he returned home Tuesday.
Vehicles entered: Three residents of Parkside Estates told Canonsburg police Tuesday that their vehicles were entered and items were stolen. Robert Christian reported over-the-counter medication stolen from his vehicle. Michael Clawger reported cash stolen, and Cody Ferencek said Beats headphones, sunglasses and cash were stolen from his vehicle.
Battery, charger stolen: The owner of McGinnis Cigars, 58 W. Pike St., told Canonsburg police Tuesday that a charger and battery were stolen from a back room Saturday.
CANTON
Charged with assault: Alexander Rufus McCartney, 24, of Washington, was arrested Tuesday morning by state police after he allegedly punched his girlfriend and tried to hit her with his vehicle during a confrontation in the 1600 block of Weirich Avenue. He then crashed his vehicle into a parked vehicle before leaving the scene, police said. McCartney was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger on charges of aggravated and simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment, disorderly conduct and several traffic violations. He was released from Washington County Jail Wednesday after posting $10,000 bond.
DEEMSTON
Accidental shooting: Nathan Palmer, 34, accidentally shot himself in the thigh Saturday while cleaning and reassembling a gun at 30 Fairview Lane, state police said. Palmer suffered a non-life-threatening wound.

Assault alleged: Rachel Lee Petre, 22, of 447 Bower Hill Road, Venetia, is charged by township police with simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief, court records show. Police accuse her of scratching her estranged boyfriend, Michael Doody, on the neck and back and also breaking his smartphone about 2:45 p.m. June 3 at 424 Bower Hill Road. She is free on $2,500 unsecured bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Assault alleged: Sean Conway, 27, of 68 Third Ave., Atlasburg, is charged by township police with simple assault, harassment and making terroristic threats, court records show. Police accuse Conway of throwing a television remote control at his girlfriend, Alexandra Balionis, and threatening to go to her workplace and kill her and assault a coworker about 5 p.m. Monday. He is free on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.
WASHINGTON
Woman assaulted: Kenyada Hines, 36, told Washington police Tuesday that she was assaulted at her Delaware Avenue home by a 30-year-old Pittsburgh man who allegedly grabbed her arm and bit it. Police said they plan to file charges.
