Todd Allen Henderson, 41, of 215 S. Spring St., faces charges of aggravated indecent assault, child pornography, statutory sexual assault and corruption of minors.
Waynesburg Borough police received a report of possible child sexual abuse from Greene County Children and Youth Services and spoke to the female victim at the police station April 24. Police reviewed her cellphone, which was in the possession of a CYS caseworker at the time.
Police found a conversation believed to be with Henderson making comments about not having any condoms. The victim told police the two discussed sex, but nothing physical occurred. She told police, according to the criminal complaint, she sent him a topless photo. Police also found nude photographs of the girl on her phone.
The girl, who was younger than 16 years old, was interviewed again June 6. She told police “that she and Henderson had met at his residence in April and had sexual contact with each other,” according to the criminal complaint. She told police Henderson exposed himself to her and touched her.
Henderson was interviewed by borough police Monday and said after he began chatting with the victim, the conversations became sexual in nature and he asked for nude photographs, according to court documents.
After receiving photos he requested, Henderson told police the girl came to his home and the two were alone, court documents indicate. Henderson told police he exposed himself to the girl.
Henderson was arraigned Monday afternoon by District Judge David Balint and was taken to Greene County jail on $100,000 cash bond. He is scheduled to appear before Balint for his preliminary hearing at 10:30 a.m. June 22.
